PlayBlog Behind the Scenes Video of Ten Cents a Dance at Williamstown The new actor-musician musical Ten Cents a Dance, created by Tony Award-winning director John Doyle that incorporates the songs of Rodgers and Hart into its love story, is serenading audiences at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.


Ten Cents a Dance opened Aug. 12 on the Williamstown main stage and stars Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line) as Miss Jones Five, Tony nominee Malcolm Gets (The Story of My Life) as Johnny, Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd) as Miss Jones One, Jane Pfitsch (Company) as Miss Jones Two, Jessica Tyler Wright (Sweeney Todd) as Miss Jones Three and Diana DiMarzio (Sweeney Todd) as Miss Jones Four.

Williamstown is sharing a backstage video of the production as the cast gets ready for a performance and speaks about juggling multiple instruments in Doyle's signature staging.
