News Beth Leavel to Star in Call Me Madam for Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma Tony Award-winning actress Beth Leavel will star in the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma production of Irving Berlin's Call Me Madam this July.

Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone, Baby It's You!) will take on the role of Washington "Hostess with the Mostes" Sally Adams. Visit Leavel's page on the Playbill Vault.

Michael Baron will direct the musical with a score by Berlin and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. Performances will run July 24-28.

Amy Reynolds Reed will choreograph with musical direction by David Andrews Rogers. The production will have scenic design by Adam Koch, lighting design by Helena Kuukka and costume design by Jeffrey Meek.

The Lyric Theatre will also stage Bye Bye Birdie (June 26-30), Sweet Charity (July 10-14), as well as Chita Rivera My Broadway (Aug. 7-11).
