News Betty Buckley Announces Concerts and Master Classes in 4 States Tony Award winner Betty Buckley has announced a series of concerts and master classes in Boston, New York, Ft. Worth and Miami Beach for the coming months.

The gifted singing actress will play Florida's Colony Theatre Miami Beach Feb. 27-28 at 8 PM. Buckley, who will offer tunes from her critically acclaimed new recording, "Ghostlight," will be joined by pianist Christian Jacob. For tickets visit www.colonytheatremiamibeach.com.

On March 13-14 Buckley and pianist Jacob will be seen at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston. The Sunset Boulevard star will also highlight tunes from her newest recording; visit www.scullersjazz.com for tickets. Show times both nights are 8 and 10 PM.

Buckley will return to her native Fort Worth March 28 for two shows at the McDavid Studio at Bass Performance Hall. Titled Betty Buckley In My Own Backyard, audiences can expect Broadway tunes as well as songs from the "Ghostlight" recording. Buckley will also offer a two-month Spring Intensive Song Interpretation Workshop at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth beginning April 15. The training will focus on preparations for Story Songs V, a concert to be presented in June, starring participants in the workshop. The Workshop consists of 18 evening meetings. The Broadway actress will return to New York in May to offer her Song Interpretation & Monologue Master Class at T. Schreiber Studio; class dates are May 19-23. Betty Buckley offered acclaimed performances in Broadway's Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776, Triumph of Love and Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises, Dear World and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter. Her screen credits are numerous.
