Betty Buckley will take her trunk of eclectic songs and perform a varied concert for Lincoln Center's American Songbook series Sept. 19-20 at Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan.
Known for her belty, inspirational performances in Broadway's The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Cats and Triumph of Love, Buckley will sing tunes from her latest album, "Stars and the Moon." The Tony Award-winning actress is expected to sing Kern, Bernstein, Joni Mitchell, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jason Robert Brown and more. A six-piece band will sweeten the performances.
Buckley's Broadway work includes 1776, Carrie and Sunset Boulevard. She has recorded eight album.
