Tony Award-winning actress Betty Buckley, a diva synonymous with Broadway owing to her work in such musicals as Sunset Boulevard, 1776 and Pippin, brings her one-woman show to the Huntington Theatre Company, May 13, in a benefit for the organization's Education & Outreach Programs.
For tickets ($250 for the dinner gala, $75-$55 for the concert only), call (617) 266-0800.
In her concert, Buckley is likely to sing excerpts from the abovementioned shows and from the revue Song and Dance.
More than 100,000 students have seen shows at HTC thanks to the Outreach program, which has such special projects as The Young Critics Institute, Community Connections and the John Hancock Student Matinee Series.
