PlayBlog Bierko, Short, Tomlin and More in Place for "Damages" The FX television series "Damages" is welcoming a bevy of Broadway stars to its third season cast, according to EW.com.


Dominic Chianese, of "The Sopranos" and Broadway's The Rose Tattoo and Requiem for a Heavyweight, will play a shady associate of the Tobin family, who are at the center of Patty's (Glenn Close) new case.

Tony nominee Craig Bierko (Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls and Harold Hill in The Music Man) will play Terry Brooke, who has ties to Frobisher (Ted Danson).

Other stars who have been added to the third season cast are Campbell Scott (Ah Wilderness!, Long Day's Journey Into Night, TV's "Six Degrees") as Joe Tobin, Lily Tomlin (The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe) as Marilyn Tobin and Martin Short (Fame Becomes Me, Little Me and The Goodbye Girl) as Leonard Winstone, the Tobin attorney.

The third season of "Damages" premieres Jan. 25.
