Seeking a Bitter End to Valentine's Day? Broadway's Alice Ripley will sing tracks from her first solo pop album, "Everything's Fine" Feb. 14 at the Bitter End in New York City.
The self-penned mostly mellow songs (with two collaborations from Grammy-nominated producer-songwriter Bruce Brody) include:
"Shotgun"
"Shine On"
"She Keeps Her Love Away"
"Photograph"
"Calling All Angels"
"Drive"
"Suburbia"
"New Kid"
"Everything's Fine"
"Silence You"
"So Much of Me"
"Pieces"
"Violet Tree"
Grammy winner Joel Moss produced the album. Ripley's band features husband Shannon Ford on drums, Glenn Alexander on guitar and Brian Hamm on bass.
Ripley most recently starred on Broadway as Janet in The Rocky Horror Show revival. While nursing a recording and rock career, she has found time to star in Sunset Boulevard, The Who's Tommy and Side Show, for which she was Tony-nominated. Tickets are $10 at the door. The Bitter End is located at 147 Bleeker Street. For information, call (212) 673-7030.
