Mark Rylance, who won a 2008 Tony Award for his performance in Boeing-Boeing, takes part in a one-night reading of NICE FISH! The thrilling adventures of ice fishermen. (Or what Robert did in his holidays before he met Gretchen) Dec. 15.

The free presentation, which also features Matthew Cowles, will begin at 8 PM at the Theatre Row Theatres. Matthew Warchus directs.

NICE FISH! is based on the poems of Minnesota poet Louis Jenkins, whose work was brought to the attention of TV watchers during the 2008 Tony Awards when Rylance quoted a Jenkins selection during his Tony acceptance speech.

Stuart Thompson Productions is producing the one-night-only event.

Although the NICE FISH! reading is free, donations will be accepted to benefit Survival International (, a charity benefiting tribal peoples around the globe.
