PlayBlog   Book of Mormon Tony Winners Trey Parker and Matt Stone Visit Jon Stewart (Video) Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of The Book of Mormon and winners of multiple 2011 Tony Awards, visited "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" June 15 to talk about the hit show that rocked the Tony Awards June 12 at the Beacon Theatre.

The new musical tells the story of "an unlikely pair of Mormon missionaries who venture from Salt Lake City to AIDS-ravaged Uganda in the hopes of converting villagers with the story of Joseph Smith and the founding of the Mormon Church. The problem is: Only one of them has actually read the book."

On "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart," the dynamic duo talk about joining the Broadway community, their night at the Tony Awards and their hit television show, "South Park."

The Book of Mormon officially opened on Broadway March 24 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre and has been playing to sold-out houses—Stewart jokes that the show is sold out through 2019.
