The Boston Pops opening-night concert on May 7 will feature Alexander, the Tony-winning Jerome Robbins' Broadway star, who is best known for his role as George Costanza on the Emmy-winning "Seinfeld." Alexander will join Lockhart and the Boston Pops Orchestra for an evening of comedy, song and dance.
The Corner of Broadway and Soul, featuring Tony-winning Kinky Boots star Porter, will be presented May 20-21. Porter, who will be making his Pops debut, will join the orchestra and Lockhart at “the corner of Broadway and soul,” where Broadway ballads intersect with R&B beats and gospel instincts.
Tony and Grammy winner Holliday will be the special guest for the 33rd annual “Presidents at Pops" June 4. The Dreamgirls star will bring her rhythm and blues hits to the Symphony Hall stage for the BSO’s premier corporate spring fundraising gala.
