News Boublil and Schönberg to Sign Copies of New Biography April 3 in Manhattan Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, who created the musicals Les Misérables and Miss Saigon, will take part in a book-signing event April 3 at the Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle.

The 6-7 PM event will celebrate the release of Margaret Vermette's new biography, "The Musical World of Boublil & Schönberg," which is now in stores. Boublil and Schönberg will be on hand to autograph the new tome, and they will also join author Vermette for a discussion of their creative process.

The evening will also include performances from singing actors Joe Paparella and Jennifer Zimmerman, who will be accompanied on piano by Soren Anders. Those in attendance can expect to hear "I'm Martin Guerre" (from Martin Guerre), "On My Own" (from Les Miserables), and "Last Night of the World" (from Miss Saigon).

A video clip from the recent WLIW documentary "The Pirate Queen: A Broadway Journey” will also be shown. The Pirate Queen is the newest Boublil-Schönberg collaboration, which will officially open April 5 at the Hilton Theatre.

The Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle is located at 1972 Broadway at 66th Street. The event is free and open to the public.

* Barnes & Noble's Any Wednesday series will continue with Tom Jones and the cast of The Fantasticks revival (April 11 at 5:30 PM), cabaret singer Mary Foster Conklin (April 18 at 6 PM) and San Francisco-based singer Terese Genecco (April 25).
