Juno and the Paycock will be directed by Gemma Bodinetz, artistic director of the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, where the production will transfer after premiering in Bristol, where it begins performances Sept. 5 prior to an official opening Sept. 10 for a run through Sept. 27.

The play, set in Dublin in 1922, will feature Niamh Cusack as the eponymous Juno and Des McAleer as her husband Jack Boyle, and will be staged against a world of zero contract hours and the spread of pawnbrokers where matriarchs like Juno struggle to hold their family together against the odds.

Swallows and Amazons, created by writer Helen Edmundson, composer Neil Hannon and director Tom Morris and based on the book by Arthur Ransome, will begin performances Nov. 27 prior to an official opening Dec. 2, for a run through Jan. 17, 2015. It is described in press materials as a story of an idyllic era, of endless summer evenings and the beauty of youthful imagination.

Orfeo, co-produced with English National Opera, will begin performances April 16 for a run through April 25. It will be directed by Tom Morris and conducted by Christopher Bucknall.  

There will also be appearances by visiting companies including Theatre Damfino, the Mark Bruce Company, Action Hero, Kneehigh, Crying Out Loud, Tall Stories, Gecko and Theatre Uncut, amongst others.
