British playwright, Chris Lee will have the American premiere of his play, Eat the Enemy at Theatre LaB Houston, Aug. 25-Sept. 12. Enemy takes place at a dinner party through four separate scenes, each featuring the same characters at the same disillusioned ages but each set in a different decade -- each poisoned by its own distinctive malaise. Covered are the self-conscious outrageousness of the 60s, the insipidity of the 70's, the boorishness of the 80's and the caring, sharing hopelessness of the 90's. Enemy was first produced at London's The Old Red Lion Theatre this past winter.

Ed Muth will direct a cast featuring Joel Sandel, Jerry Miller, Marie Hennebery.
