Jerry Herman's classic musical Mame returned to Long Island for a limited engagement Jan. 13 at the Broadhollow Players' Centre Stage. The production played earlier in the season at Broadhollow's BayWay Arts Center and is now set to end its second run Jan. 28.
In the show with music and lyrics by Herman and book by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, a lively lady is about to get married when she receives an earlier wedding present: her orphaned nephew. Broadhollow's associate artistic director handles directorial duties for this production.
