News Broadway-Bound Great Comet Wins 3 Elliot Norton Awards The awards salute the best in Boston theatre.

The greater Boston theatre community recognized excellence in stagecraft with the 34th annual Elliot Norton Awards, which were presented May 23 at the Citi Shubert Theatre.

The local production of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 won three awards, including Outstanding Musical Production by a Large Theatre. A separate production is scheduled to open on Broadway this fall.

Mary Louise Wilson was named winner of the Norton Lifetime Achievement Award.
