Broadway News Broadway Carousel Revival Sets Rush Ticket Policy Jessie Mueller and Joshua Henry star in the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic that opens April 12 at the Imperial Theatre.

The Broadway revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, starring Tony winner Jessie Mueller (Waitress, Beautiful) as Julie Jordan opposite Tony nominee Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys, Violet) as Billy Bigelow, has announced its rush ticket policy.

A limited number of $40 tickets will be released at the Imperial Theatre box office for day-of performances. Seating locations are at the discretion of the theatre box office. Ticket buyers can pay cash or credit for rush tickets.

Carousel began previews February 28 and officially opens April 12 under the direction of Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien (Hairspray, Coast of Utopia).

The cast also features Grammy-winning opera star Renée Fleming in her Broadway musical debut as Nettie Fowler, Lindsay Mendez as Carrie Pipperidge, Alexander Gemignani as Enoch Snow, Margaret Colin as Mrs. Mullin, and Tony nominee John Douglas Thompson as the Starkeeper.
