Streisand starred on Broadway in the original staging of the Jules Styne musical Funny Girl as well as in I Can Get It for You Wholesale. Streisand made her film debut reprising her role as Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl" — winning an Oscar for her portrayal. Streisand also recently served as material for Daniel Stern's Off Broadway comedy, Barbra's Wedding.
