News Broadway's Mamma Mia! Welcomes Dee Hoty Oct. 22 Three-time Tony Award nominee Dee Hoty joins the cast of Mamma Mia! Oct. 22 as Donna Sheridan.

Hoty replaces long-time Mamma Mia! star Louise Pitre, who played her final performance Oct. 19. Hoty enters the company the same day as several other Mamma newcomers. As of Oct. 22 the cast at the Winter Garden will include Jenny Fellner as Sophie Sheridan, Rebecca Kasper as Ali, Keisha T. Fraser as Lisa, Tamara Bernier as Tanya, Harriett D. Foy as Rosie, Joe Machota as Sky, Jason Weston as Pepper, Michael Benjamin Washington as Eddie, Michael Winther as Harry Bright, Adam LeFevre as Bill Austin, John Hillner as Sam Carmichael and Brent Black as Father Alexandrios.

Dee Hoty received Tony nominations for her performances in Footloose, Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public and The Will Rogers Follies. She was nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for her work in City of Angels, and her other Broadway credits include Me and My Girl, Big River, The Five O'Clock Girl and Shakespeare's Cabaret. Off-Broadway Hoty appeared in Personals, Vanities and Forbidden Broadway, and she portrayed Phyllis in the Paper Mill production of Follies.
