News   Broadway's Sal Viviano Teams with Deana Martin for Viva Italia, The Mob Hits Sal Viviano, the Broadway actor who performs in concert halls across the country, has joined forces with Deana Martin, daughter of the late Dean Martin, for several concerts this month in Florida.

The new concert act, entitled VIVA ITALIA, The MOB Hits, will be presented Nov. 14 at the Carole & Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, FAU; Nov. 15 at the Eissey Campus Theatre, PBSC; Nov. 16 at the Amaturo Theater, Broward Center for the Performing Arts; and Nov. 17 at the Eissey Campus Theatre, PBSC.

The concerts also feature the The Florida Sunshine Pops Orchestra with arrangements penned by Grammy winner Charles Calello.

Viviano told Playbill.com, "[The concerts celebrate] much of the great iconic music popularized by such Italian crooners as Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Jerry Vale, Al Martino, Louis Prima, Julius LaRosa, Perry Como; and featured in some of the great films of Coppola, Scorsese, and the rest...Deana [Martin] will not only sing some of her father's greatest hits, but we'll also team-up for some of the other memorable favorites."

Concertgoers can expect to hear such tunes as "Kick in the Head," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "Mack the Knife," "That's Amore," "Speak Softly Love," "Catch a Falling Star," "Old Devil Moon," "My Way" and more.

Sal Viviano has appeared on Broadway in The Full Monty, The Life, Falsettos, City of Angels, Romance/Romance and The Three Musketeers. Off-Broadway he was seen in Beau Jest, Cather County, Weird Romance, Catch Me If I Fall, Broadway Jukebox, Hamlet and The Opera. His film credits include "Black Roses," "The Jitters," "Spike of Bensonhurst" and "Life With Mikey." Viviano's debut solo recording is titled "The Standards of Love."
