News Budd, Brinberg and Hamlisch Celebrate Music of Barbra Streisand Oct. 7-9 The Music of Barbra Streisand will be celebrated at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Oct. 7-9.

Marvin Hamlisch will lead the National Symphony Orchestra for the three-night event, which features vocalist Julie Budd and famed Streisand impersonator-actor Steven Brinberg. Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes from Funny Girl and "Yentl" as well as such Streisand classics as "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" and "The Way We Were." Show times are 7 PM Oct. 7 and 8 PM Oct. 8 and 9. Following the Oct. 7 concert, the Kennedy Center will offer "More with Marvin," a free discussion with the Tony-winning composer.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is located at 2700 F. Street, NW in Washington, D.C. Tickets for The Music of Barbra Streisand are priced $20-$80 and available by visiting www.kennedy center.org.
