News Burn the Floor to Return to London's Shaftesbury Theatre in 2013 Burn the Floor, a ballroom dance show that has previously played the West End's Shaftesbury Theatre, will return there, beginning performances March 6, 2013, prior to an official opening March 11.

Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff, best known for their appearances on TV's "Strictly Come Dancing," are to star. Windsor has previously appeared in the show both in the West End and in its Broadway stand. He is currently partnering Lisa Riley in his third series on "Strictly Come Dancing," having previously partnered Anita Dobson and Patsy Kensit. Rihanoff, who is currently partnering Colin Salmon in her fifth season on "Strictly Come Dancing," has previously partnered John Sergeant, Joe Calzaghe, Goldie and Jason Donovan. In 2009 she jointly choreographed BBC3's "Dancing on Wheels."

They are joined by Karen Hauer, who was a principal dancer in Burn the Floor throughout 2010 and 2011, and is currently starring in her first season of "Strictly Come Dancing" partnering Nicky Byrne.

According to press materials, the show takes audiences on a journey from Harlem's hot nights at The Savoy, where dances such as the Lindy, Foxtrot and Charleston were born, to the Latin Quarter where the Cha-Cha, Rumba and Salsa steamed up the stage, incorporating those forms as well as tango, Samba, Mambo, Quickstep, and Swing.

The show 's artistic director and choreographer is Jason Gilkison, a former World Champion Latin and Ballroom dancer. Burn the Floor is produced by The Theatre of Comedy and Harley Medcalf.
