The Jan. 11 concert will mark the first time Upright Cabaret — the L.A.-based cabaret series created by producers/hosts Chris Isaacson and Shane Scheel — will play a Manhattan venue. Show time at the intimate theatre located within the Public Theater is 11 PM. Among those currently scheduled to perform at the one-night-only event are The Broadway Boys, Andrea Burns, Gavin Creel, Spencer Day, Tim Draxl, Audra Mae, Patina Miller, Julia Murney, Hunter Parrish, Valarie Pettiford, Jessica Phillips, Marni Raab, Julie Reiber, Ken Robinson, Katie Thompson, Michael Urie and Rema Webb.
Upright's new resident director, actor Billy Porter, will direct the evening. Chris Bratten will be the concert's musical director.
