Can't get a seat to Broadway's Chairs? Well, take a trip downtown to The Piano Store, where Amsterdam's Vagabond Productions revives their own critically acclaimed production of Ionesco's absurdist comedy, April 11- May 11.

After a successful stint at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Vagabond moved their Chairs to Off-Off Broadway's Piano Store for a sold out run. Because of scheduling conflicts, they then moved the show to the Currican Theatre. Now after continual success, Vagabond's Chairs will return to The Piano Store for a month long run.

Ionesco's 1952 absurdist comedy follows two people living alone on an island. The Old Man wants to make a speech to all mankind about the meaning of life -- but do they have enough chairs for their invisible guests.

Vagabond Productions was founded by Bart Vanlaere and Louise Seyfert in 1989. They have staged various productions in Amsterdam, Great Britain, the United States, Belgium and The Netherlands.

Vagabond's Chairs is playing at The Piano Store, April 11-May 11. For tickets and more information call (212) 591-2367.
