Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall, the production will officially open Feb. 19. Performances continue through March 14. The cast features Noah Weisberg as Calvin with David Hull, Krystal Joy Brown and Dana Steingold.
The musical was penned by Richard Rodgers Award winner Barry Wyner. "Calvin Berger is a modern day Cyrano – stressed out about a nose he can't hide and a girl he can't get," according to press notes. "With a creative little scheme, some geeky charm and eloquent words, he goes to great lengths to have the star jock deliver his love-struck letters. But what if the girl of his dreams was right under his nose all along…"
The creative team also includes musical director Aron Accurso, orchestrator Doug Besterman, scenic designer Derek McLane, costume designer Martin Pakledinaz, lighting designer Howell Binkley and sound designer Brian Ronan.
