Directed by Sheryl Kaller, Frank Pugliese's new play will officially open Sept. 22. The cast will boast Bobby Cannavale, Bruce MacVittie and Titus Welliver. The talk, according to press notes, concerns "four brothers who come home for their mother's funeral to find a past they never knew of, and the words to comprehend it."

In a statement Naked Angels artistic director Geoffrey Nauffts said, "Pugliese's voice, both refreshing and unique, has been a huge inspiration to several generations of theatre artists. Nobody writes about the urban working class with more elegance and lyricism, and The Talk, haunting and hilarious, is again proof of that."

The creative team includes Derek McLane (set design), Russell Champa (lighting design), Mattie Ullrich (costume design) and Bart Fasbender (sound design). The production is presented in association with Susan Dietz and Barbara Manocherian.

Show times will be Thursday-Saturday and Monday at 8 PM, Tuesday and Sunday at 7 PM and Saturday and Sunday at 3 PM. Tickets, priced $60, will go on sale Aug. 6 by calling (212) 239-2969 or by visiting www.telecharge.com.

The Cherry Lane Theatre is located in Manhattan at 38 Commerce Street.
