News Cantone, Halston and Behar Part of Comedy Cares Feb. 2 A host of theatre and TV stars will take part in a new fundraising evening Feb. 2 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Jim David will host the one-night-only event, which is titled Comedy Cares and will begin at 7 PM at Carolines On Broadway. The evening will feature the comedic talents of "The View" co-host Joy Behar, The Violet Hour's Mario Cantone, Gypsy's Julie Halston, "Saturday Night Live"'s Darrell Hammond, stand-up comic Judy Gold and "Last Comic Standing"'s Cori Kahaney. Tickets, priced at $45 (general admission) and $75 (autographed show poster and Playbill), are available by calling (212) 840-0770. Carolines On Broadway is located in Manhattan at 1626 Broadway.
