The May 14 performance of the Tony-nominated musical Caroline, or Change has been cancelled. According to the show's press representative, during a routine work call this afternoon at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, a sprinkler system malfunction caused a minor flood onstage.

Nominated for 6 Tony Awards earlier this week, Caroline is expected to resume performances with the Saturday, May 15 2PM matinee.

Ticket holders may exchange their tickets for a future performance. Exchanges and refunds for tickets purchased at the box office or through Telecharge may be obtained at the Eugene O'Neill Box Office at any time.

For tickets purchased at the box office by cash, one may obtain a refund or exchange through the box office only, but this may be done at a later date.

For tickets purchased by credit card, one may obtain a refund or exchange through Telecharge by mailing the actual tickets along with the credit card information and billing address to:

Refunds for tickets purchased at TKTS may be obtained by returning the actual tickets to TKTS at the following times:
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 3pm - 8pm
Wednesday and Saturday: 10am - 8pm
Sunday: 11am - 3pm

Caroline, or Change, the unique musical character study that explores the bittersweet world of a black maid in Civil Rights-era Louisiana, opened on Broadway May 2 after a sold out Off-Broadway run at the Public Theater.
