California's Troubadour Theatre Company's amalgamated production of A Midsummer Saturday Night's Fever Dream that began performances Dec. 27 at Burbank's Falcon Theatre will now end its run Feb. 24.

The play, which merges Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream with pop sounds of the '70s (ala "Saturday Night Fever"), was originally scheduled to close Jan. 28 but then extended. The offbeat production is directed by Matt Walker.

Troubadour is a Los Angeles-based ensemble made up of actors, comedians and musicians who have been bringing their fast-paced and irreverent adaptations of classic plays to audiences since 1993. Past TTC productions include Butt Pirates of the Caribbean, Clowns' Labours Lost and their presentation of Twelfth Dog Night, which received an award from the L.A. Theatre Critic's Circle.

Falcon Theatre is located at 4252 Riverside Drive. For tickets and information call (818) 955-8101. For future Troubadour Theatre productions, visit their website at www.troubie.com.
