Cast members from the Fame touring company production, currently performing in Paris Folies Bergere, will give an AIDS benefit cabaret evening on Apr. 6. The money raised that evening will benefit the organization Arc-en-ciel and the event will actually take place in their center.

Arc-en-ciel is a program offered by the AIDES Ile De France organization. Arc-en-ciel helps and supports people living with HIV on a daily basis and offers them a variety of cultural, artistic and social activities, as well as health or nutritional informations.

The event has been organized by two of the Fame leads, Maurice Villa-Lobos and Caren Lyn Manuel, who have been recently interviewed by Playbill On-Line. The artists will perform songs from Broadway shows, such as Crazy For You, Rent, Dreamgirls, Company, Cabaret and Anything Goes. Rap, disco or pop songs, dance and instrumental pieces will also be performed on that night. French pianist Patrick Laviosa will accompany the evening.

The evening will start at 8:30 PM. A donation of FF 100 is suggested. The event will take place at the Arc-en-ciel foundation, located at 52 rue du Faubourg Poissoniere, Paris 10e.
