As previously announced, Mary Stuart Masterson will play Maggie opposite the Brick of Jeremy Davidson with Dana Ivey as Big Mama, George Grizzard as Big Daddy, T. Scott Cunningham as Gooper, Brian Reddy as Dr. Baugh and Emily Skinner as Mae. They will be joined by Aakhu Freeman as Sookey, Jeorge Watson as Lacey, Harry Winter as Reverend Tooker and Caitlin Redding as Dixie. The children will include Lexi Haddad, Justin Hancock, Nathan Pratt and Erin Wall. Among the understudies are Erika Sheffer (for Maggie and Mae), Winter (for Big Daddy and Dr. Baugh), Nancy Robinette (for Big Mama), Craig Wallace (for Lacey), Angela Polite (for Sookey) and Emily Pratt (for the children).
Directed by Mark Lamos, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will play the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theatre beginning June 12. "Tennessee Williams Explored," which is currently presenting Five by Tenn through May 9, continues with A Streetcar Named Desire, May 8-30, followed by A Distant Country Called Youth, June 11-13; the aforementioned Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, June 12-July 4; and The Glass Menagerie, July 17-Aug. 8.
