PlayBlog Catch Me's Kerry Butler, Aaron Tveit and Top Wopat Perform at Macy's (Video) Catch Me If You Can, Broadway's new musical based on the life of charming conman Frank Abagnale Jr., kicked off the Macy's men's fashion event June 2 at Macy's Herald Square.

To celebrate, the first 25 shoppers to spend $200 or more in the men's department received a free pair of tickets to see the Broadway musical. In addition, some of the show's stars were on hand for special performances.

Aaron Tveit, who plays leading man Frank Abagnale Jr., performed the second act number, "Goodbye." Tveit's co-star Kerry Butler, who plays love interest Brenda Strong, performed her power ballad, "Fly, Fly Away," and Tom Wopat, who plays Frank Abagnale, Sr., sang "Fifty Checks," a special track from the cast recording.

The musical, according to the producers, "captures the astonishing true story of Abagnale, Jr., a world-class con artist who passed himself off as a doctor, a lawyer, and a jet pilot — all before the age of 21. With straight-arrow FBI agent Carl Hanratty on Frank's trail, we're off on a jet-setting, cat-and-mouse chase, as a jazzy, swinging-'60s score keeps this adventure in constant motion. In the end, Agent Hanratty learns he and Frank aren't so very different after all, and Frank finds out what happens when love catches up to a man on the run."
