News Championship Season's Kiefer Sutherland Will Lend Voice to 23rd Season of "The Simpsons" Kiefer Sutherland, who will make his Broadway debut later this month in the revival of That Championship Season, will join the roster of celebrity guest voices on "The Simpsons" when the Fox animated series begins its 23rd season.

Sutherland will play a version of Jack Bauer, the character from his hit series "24," "Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean told TVguide.com.

"It's Jack Bauer now — no longer working," Jean said. "So he goes to Springfield because too many people are trying to kill him. He befriends the Simpsons, but then one of the guys who wants to kill him sees him on YouTube after he foils a robbery at Moe's Tavern."

Other guest voices that will be heard next season include Emmy-winning "Glee" star Jane Lynch, "Coraline" author Neil Gaiman and Academy Award-nominated actor Andy Garcia.

"The Simpsons" airs Sundays at 8 PM ET on Fox.
