Performances are set to begin May 22 and continue through July 12, with an official opening night set for June 14.

As previously announced, it will be helmed by Tony winner Pam MacKinnon, who directed the world premiere at Steppenwolf Theatre Company last year, where Norris is an ensemble member. Norris and MacKinnon are both returning to Playwrights for the first time since their acclaimed Clybourne Park, which transferred to Broadway and won the Pulitzer for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play.

The cast of The Qualms will also feature Kate Arrington, who starred in the Steppenwolf staging, Obie winner Donna Lynne Champlin ("Birdman," Sweeney Todd), Noah Emmerich ("The Americans," A Streetcar Named Desire), Sarah Goldberg (Clybourne Park), Julian Leong ("The Slap," Here Lies Love), Andy Lucien (Clybourne Park), Chinasa Ogbuagu (The Overwhelming, "The Following") and John Procaccino (An Enemy of the People).

The Qualms takes place at a suburban get-together for partner-swapping couples. "Idealism devolves into chaos in this sharp, sardonic assault on the struggle for power, and the sexual politics of getting laid," press notes states.

Norris' written works include Clybourne Park, Domesticated, The Low Road, The Infidel, Purple Heart, We All Went Down to Amsterdam, The Pain and the Itch, The Unmentionables and A Parallelogram.

Playwrights Horizons is located at 416 West 42nd Street. Tickets and more information are available by visiting PHnyc.org.
