In a recent interview with Playbill.com, DioGuardi said, "I totally want to do something. Absolutely. It would be a tremendous challenge [to write a musical]. I have to find the right property. I think I would love to do something that catered to women and daughters, mothers and daughters… Do what you know."
The former "American Idol" judge is a Grammy-nominated songwriter and a recent star of Bravo's "Platinum Hit."
