CHICAGO -- On Feb. 2 a host of Chicago stage and musical talents will join forces at the Mercury Theatre to honor the memory of Lynn "Kecky" Carroll, a beloved theater writer and AIDS activist who died of a heart attack on Thanksgiving morning, 1997. The Cavalcade Chicago '98! benefit (to be split between A Season of Concern and Open Hand Chicago) will be hosted by TV satirist Aaron Freeman and WGN radio personality Kathy O'Malley and will feature actor Michael Kearns, cast members from The Second City and cabaret and jazz artists Nan Mason, Spider Salof, Denise Tomasello, Ginger Tam, Ester [sic] Hana and Christiana Moffa.
