The hit Broadway revival of Chicago moves Feb. 12 from the Richard Rodgers Theatre, which its been selling out since last fall, to the larger Shubert Theatre.

Expecting only a limited run for Chicago the owners of the Rodgers booked that theatre with an incoming new show, Steel Pier, which has a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb -- coincidentally also the authors of Chicago.

Tickets for Chicago Chicago are available through June 1, 1997. Stars Ann Reinking, Bebe Neuwirth, James Naughton and Joel Grey are also all contracted through June 1.

This production of Chicago, directed by Walter Bobbie and choregraphed by Reinking ("in the style of Bob Fosse"), originated as a four- performance concert staging in May at City Center's Encores! series devoted to classic musical scores.
