News   Chlumsky, Halston and Shields to Join Rotating Cast of Love, Loss, and What I Wore
Anna Chlumsky (My Girl), Julie Halston (Gypsy) and Brooke Shields ("Lipstick Jungle") will be part of Nora and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the Westside Theatre.

Chlumsky, Halston and Shields will join the previously announced Doris Roberts beginning April 28 (through May 23). Love, Loss alumnae Lucy DeVito and Jayne Houdyshell will return to the show as part of the April cast (March 31-April 25), which also includes Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart and Shirley Knight.

Karen Carpenter directs the Ephron play, which is based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name. Performances began Sept. 21, 2009.

The play, according to press notes, "uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to."

The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Jessica Jahn (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).

Carpenter also directed the Monday night readings of Love, Loss, and What I Wore that were presented this past winter and spring as a benefit for Dress for Success. A portion of the proceeds from the current run will benefit Dress for Success. For tickets phone (212) 239-6200 or visit Telecharge. The Westside Theatre is located at 407 West 43rd Street in Manhattan.
