Tony Award winner Christine Baranski will guest star on the Nov. 13 broadcast of "Presidio Med."
The Nov. 13 episode is titled "Pick Your Battles" and concerns an unauthorized surgery as well as a 19-year-old fitness buff who is suspected of using steroids. The CBS series about the lives of physicians in a San Francisco hospital airs at 10 PM ET. Check local listings.
The cast of "Presidio Med" boasts Blythe Danner as Dr. Harriet Lanning, Dana Delany as Dr. Rae Brennan, Anna Deavere Smith as Dr. Letty Jordan, Sasha Alexander as Dr. Jackie Colette, Julianne Nicholson as Dr. Jules Keating, Oded Fehr as Dr. Nicholas Kokoris and Paul Blackthorne as Dr. Matt Slingerland. The show was created and is executive-produced by John Wells, Lydia Woodward and Christopher Chulack.
Christine Baranski won Tonys for her work in Rumors and The Real Thing and has also been seen on the New York stage in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Obie Award), The House of Blue Leaves and Lips Together, Teeth Apart as well as the Encores! production of Promises, Promises. Baranski has also achieved much success on TV, winning an Emmy Award for her performance as the boozy best friend on "Cybill." Her film credits include "Legal Eagles," "Addams Family Values," "Jeffrey" and "The Birdcage." Baranski, who spent the summer starring in the Kennedy Center's production of Sweeney Todd, will be seen in the upcoming feature film version of Kander and Ebb's "Chicago."
