Donald Margulies' Collected Stories, the Off-Broadway hit about a famous writer with a past and her inquisitive protégé, gets its northeastern Pennsylvania premiere by TNT in Scranton, PA, April 6-13.
Nicole Halmos directs in a three-quarter configuration at the Shopland Theatre in the Scranton Cultural Center. Barbara Suter plays celebrated author Ruth and Christy Meyer is Lisa, who betrays her mentor by writing about her intimate past.
Designers are Ross Genzel (set and lights) and Alisa Sickora (costumes).
Suter recently appeared in her own play, Finally Flannery, at Pulse Theater in New York City. Northwestern University grad Meyer appeared as the Dauphin and a number of ensemble roles in TNT's world premiere, Joan, in February.
