Actress Katie Pees, once of the Footloose tour, debuts her new cabaret, Katie Pees: All Over You!, chock full of musical theatre songs, May 1 at Danny's in Manhattan.

Billy Finnegan wrote and directed the new evening, which gets repeated May 7 and officially makes it onto Playbill On-Line's annual Goofy Titles list (which has included such past gems as Girl, Your Hair's on Fire, Santa Claus is Coming Out and Beaverzilla). Steven Ray Watkins is musical director.

Katie Pees: All Over You! is billed as "a young woman's musical journey down memory lane. The only problem is, the memories aren't quite hers and they aren't quite true, but, never mind, because Katie sure thinks it all happened. From Ohio to Hollywood, from Broadway to bust, Katie recounts a life of failed marriages, abandoned children, philanthropic lesbians, and misanthropic movie moguls, a life spent careening from career highs to career lows. That's right, Katie Pees has been all over the map, and now she's All Over You!"

Pees and Finnegan have culled choice musical theatre gems from the 1960s, including "I Resolve" (She Loves Me), "The Music That Makes Me Dance" (Funny Girl), "Lila Tremaine" (Fade Out, Fade In), "I Had a Ball" (I Had a Ball), "Hurry It's Lovely Up Here" (On a Clear Day), "You've Got Possibilities" (...Superman), "Gorgeous" (The Apple Tree), "Knowing When To Leave" and "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" (Promises, Promises), plus "Nobody Does It Like Me" from 1973's Seesaw.

Pees played Irene in the national tour of Footloose. She also appeared in the national tour of the children's production, Amelia Bedelia. At the Naples Dinner Theater, she was Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. This summer she will appear in News In Revue in the Berkshires. Performances are 9:15 PM May 1 and 7. There is a $10 cover charge and a $10 minimum. Danny's is located at 346 West 46 Street. For reservations, phone (212) 265-8133.
