Comedy Theatre Troupe Yllana's 666 to Play Minetta Lane

News   Comedy Theatre Troupe Yllana's 666 to Play Minetta Lane Spain's award-winning comedy theatre troupe Yllana (pronounced ee - YA - na) will make its Off-Broadway debut with 666, which begins performances March 30 at the Minetta Lane Theatre.

Presented by Psycoductions (Juan Urrutia, producer) with executive producer Aldo Scrofani, the production will officially open April 15.

666, according to press notes, "begins when three dangerous criminals (Fidel Fernandez, Joseph Michael O'Curneen and Juan Francisco Ramos Toro) and one misplaced innocent (Raul Cano) arrive on death row. Incarceration ironically sets free their wildest fantasies as, trapped between the iron gates and an electrified fence, they interact with each other and with the audience. At the end of all the comically bungled executions, all hell, quite literally, breaks out. No one is safe, least of all the audience!"

666 was a hit at last summer's New York Fringe Festival.

Show times will be Tuesday-Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM and 7 PM.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.Ticketmaster.com, by phone at (212) 307-4100, or in person at the Minetta Lane Theater Box Office (18 Minetta Lane).
