News Composer Scott Alan Will Offer Performance and CD Signing at London's Dress Circle Composer-lyricist Scott Alan, who will perform at London's The Jermyn Street Theatre June 24, will make an appearance at the West End show-biz shop Dress Circle that same day.

The Dress Circle performance and CD signing is scheduled for 12:30 PM London time. Alan will be joined by Wicked's Oliver Tompsett for this free concert.

The June 24 Jermyn Street Theatre concert, which is completely sold out, will feature the talents of Annalene Beechey, Cassie McIvor, Mark Evans, Bradley White-Dale, Ashleigh Grey and Stuart Matthew Price.

On July 20 Alan will make his concert debut in Germany at the Hamburger Kammerspiele in Hamburg. The composer will be joined by Wicked’s Willemijn Verkaik, who will sing through Alan's songbook in both English and German. Other guests will include Volkan Baydar, Konstantin Rethwisch and Serkan Kaya. Tickets are available by visiting http://www.represent.de/wepresent-en.php. A CD signing will follow the concert.

Scott Alan wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour, which was seen in Los Angeles. His current theatre projects include Piece, which was featured at the 2003 Palo Alto TheatreWorks festival, the 2005 NAMT festival and the 2007 Festival of New Musicals at Village Theatre; and the song cycle The Warmth of the Womb. He also produces the monthly Monday Nights, New Voices concert at the Duplex. Alan's newest recording, "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up," is now available on CDbaby.com, Amazon.com and iTunes. "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" follows Alan's earlier studio recordings, "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys."
