Brazilian play Confesiones de Mujeres de 30 (Confessions from Women in Their 30's) by Domingo Jose Soares de Oliveira, based on true stories by Nisker, Rozenbaum, Morthe, Bernardelli, Dreize and Proenca, celebrated one year of performances Feb. 11 with a party at the "Metro", one of Mexico City's most fancy nightclubs.

Among the stars at the event were Silvia Pinal, Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo, Maria Sorte and Lorena Velazquez.

The three actresses in their 30´s starring in Confesiones are Laura Luz, Ana Karina Guevara and Joanydka Mariel, who recently replaced actress Zaide Silvia Gutierrez in the cast. Through this comedy the audience explores the life of three common Latin-American women in their mid-30´s, as they talk about love, frustrations, achievements, pleasures and of course, men.

Confesiones plays at the Teatro Telon de Asfalto on Thurs. at 8:30 PM, Fri. at 7:45 PM & 9:30 PM, Sat. at 7 PM and 9 PM and Sun. at 6 PM & 8 PM. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster at (52-5) 325-9000.
