Packing Peanuts features lyrics penned by young members of the 52nd Street Project set to music composed by Tony winner Krieger (Dreamgirls, Side Show), Tony nominees Tesori (Caroline, or Change, Shrek) and Rob Reale (A Year with Frog and Toad) and singer-songwriters Sondre Lerche and Dayna Kurtz.
Announced to perform the original songs are John Ellison Conlee (The Full Monty), Lili Cooper (Spring Awakening), Mandy Gonzalez (In the Heights), Testa (Guys and Dolls), Dayna Kurtz and Sondre Lerche.
Jonathan Bernstein directs the evening with musical direction by Kimberly Grigsby, lighting design by Greg MacPherson and sound design by Scott Lehrer. Singers will be accompanied by Peter Bernstein (guitar) and Ethan Eubanks (drums).
