The four judges — Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi — opted not to use the once-a-season "save," which allows the voted-off contestant to continue to the next week.
Tim Urban and Katie Stevens were the other contestants who received the least votes of the week.
The top 11 sang Billboard number-one hits on the March 23 telecast of "Idol."
