Michael Cullen (Bus Stop), Megan Ferguson (BOOM), Daniel Eric Gold (suburbia), Leslie Lyles (Passion Play) and Dan McCabe (The Dear Boy) will star in Carly Mensch's Len, Asleep in Vinyl. The work begins previews May 13 and opens June 2 for a run at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre through June 22. Jackson Gay directs the dark comedy by Mensch (whose All Hail Hurricane Gordo received its world premiere at this year's Humana Festival).

Cullen stars as the title character, "a legendary but disillusioned music producer [who] has retreated to a cabin in the woods, comforted by his mountains of records. When his estranged son (Gold) and an ambitious but self-destructive pop star (Ferguson) both arrive on his doorstep, Len finds himself caught between their dreams and his own demons lurking in the woods," according to press notes.

The design team includes Wilson Chin (scenic), Jessica Ford (costume), Matthew Richards (lighting) and Mark Huang (sound).

The Uptown series will continue with Animals Out of Paper by Rajiv Joseph (last year's All This Intimacy), July 15-Aug. 24, at the Off-Broadway company's same uptown home.

This marks the company's sixth Uptown Series. Previous playwrights presented include Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Adam Bock and Brooke Berman.

Tickets to both plays at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre (on Broadway at 76th Street) are available by calling (212) 246-4422 or online at 2ST.com.
