PlayBlog "Curtain Up!" Goes Behind the Scenes of Broadway's Rock of Ages (Video) "Curtain Up!" wraps up its Broadway week series with a backstage visit with the stars of Broadway's Rock of Ages. Here, PIX 11 visits the Helen Hayes Theatre, home of the 80s rock musical.


"Curtain Up!" took a backstage tour of the theatre and chatted with the show's stars. PIX 11 host Tamsen Fadal was so excited to be backstage at the Helen Hayes that the show's creative team allowed her to make her Broadway debut alongside the cast of Rock of Ages. After getting in costume, the production stage manager quickly went through the performance track and Fadal hit the stage.

In the Broadway week "Curtain Up!" series, PIX11 visits Broadway's best for a glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes before the curtain rises at 8 PM. "Curtain Up!" recently visited the Palace to check out the action at Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the August Wilson to chat with the Jersey Boys, the St. James to hang out with the hippies of Hair and the Broadway Theatre to visit Sister Act.

The Broadway musical Rock of Ages includes classic rock songs such as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don’t Stop Believin’" and more.
