News Dance Drama "Match," Starring Patrick Stewart, Will Get U.S. Release Stephen Belber's "Match," the film adaptation of his play of the same name, will receive a release in North America, Variety reports.

The film, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, stars Tony nominee Patrick Stewart (Waiting For Godot/No Man's Land, Macbeth), Carla Gugino (The Road to Mecca, Desire Under the Elms) and Matthew Lillard ("Beware the Batman," "The Bridge").

The film follows a dancer, choreographer and teacher, played by Stewart, who is visited by a couple who want to interview him.

The play premiered on Broadway in 2004, and Frank Langella, Ray Liotta and Jane Adams comprised the cast.

The film is produced by David Permut, Matt Ratner and Rick Rosenthal. Executive producers are David Beitchman, Adam Brawer, Chris Mangano, Nick Morton and Lawrence Kopeikin.
