D'Angora's Divas I've Done Returns to Don't Tell Mama

News   D'Angora's Divas I've Done Returns to Don't Tell Mama
Tom D'Angora, who received much acclaim this past summer for Divas I've Done, will offer additional performances of that solo show at Don't Tell Mama.

D'Angora, who also appeared in the controversial Provincetown production of Naked Boys Singing, will return to Don't Tell Mama on Jan. 25 (8 PM), Jan. 27 (9 PM), March 7 (8 PM) and March 14 (8 PM). Divas I've Done celebrates the women of the musical theatre who have meant the most to D'Angora, including Liza Minnelli, Ellen Greene, Maya Days and Jane Eyre's Marla Schaffel. D'Angora's evening includes tributes, original parodies, standards and stories. One highlight is a parody of Little Shop of Horrors' "Somewhere That's Green," entitled "Somewhere That's Pink." Michael Duling directs Divas I've Done, which also features the talents of Stephanie Harwood, Alex Kissel and Noel Cody.

Don't Tell Mama is located at 343 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues. There is a $15 cover charge and a two-drink minimum; cash only. Call (212) 757-0788 for reservations.
