Producer Daniel Benge of the Benge Group will present the series of readings of Make Me Bad — which will also feature musical direction by Charlie Rosen (One Man, Two Guvnors) — Feb. 3, 2014.
Casting will be announced at a later date.
The musical thriller, according to press notes, "follows the story of Daisy Harris, a mid-twenties resident of Billings, Montana; whose life, like the town itself, is at a standstill. A string of unexplained murders rocks the town, coinciding with the arrival of ‘freelance entrepreneur,’ Max. As the town continues to be plagued by gruesome killings, the relationship formed between the two not only reveals the atrocities of Daisy's past, but prefaces the darkness that is to come."

Brightman, who has also been seen on Broadway in Wicked and Glory Days, makes his New York City writing debut with Make Me Bad. He is currently writing the book to Circles, his second musical with Gasparini.
